Ailing Eric Berry's former, current teammates show support Sunday at Arrowhead

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Former and current teammates of Kansas City Chiefs defender Eric Berry showed their support for him before and after Sunday's game at Arrowhead Stadium.|

Berry is undergoing treatment in Atlanta for Hodgkin lymphoma. A mass was discovered in Berry's chest following the Chiefs road game against the Oakland Raiders.

San Diego Chargers defensive player Brandon Flowers joined the Chiefs in 2008, which was two years before Berry was drafted by the Chiefs in the first round.

Flowers may have left the Chiefs but he spoke volumes during warmups. He wore a "Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Berry" shirt over his Chargers-issued shirt while preparing for the game.

After the Chiefs beat the Chargers, linebacker Justin Houston, who had just broken Chiefs great Derrick Thomas' single-season sack record, made a boisterous show of support for Berry. He lifted his No. 50 jersey to show that he had written in red "29" on his white undershirt.

"This is for my dog," he said while pointing to the T-shirt.
