1/4 cup of dried cherries or cranberries
1/2 cup of cherry syrup. (1/4 "special" syrup* and 1/4 water )
1 bottle of champagne
Make your cherry syrup. First, make the special syrup by soaking a bag of dried cherries in about 2 cups of water. Soak anywhere from one hour to 24 hours. Drain the cherries and set aside. In the water where the cherries sat, add 1-2 packets of stevia (depending on how sweet you like it). Then add 1/4 cup of water and you are finished with your special syrup.
Place 5-8 cherries in a champagne flute. Add a small amount of cherry syrup to the cherries, just enough to cover the cherries. Then, add your champagne.
Not only is it a wonderful sweet cocktail, but you will notice that the cherries bounce up and down the glass, just like in a lava lamp and add a fun dynamic twist to your party! Copyright 2014 KCTV. All rights reserved.
