RANDOLPH, MO (KCTV) -

Police are searching for a second suspect in connection with a rash of vehicle break-ins in a small metro city.

Randolph Police Chief Rodney Phillips said a dozen vehicles were targeted in both residential and business areas Sunday night and early Monday morning.

Randolph is located in Clay County near Interstate 435 and Highway 210. As of the census of 2010, there were 52 people, 24 households and 14 families residing in the city.

One suspect was captured Monday. Phillips said authorities were looking for his partner.

Phillips said the thieves appeared to mainly target tools, but said they "took pretty much anything of value" from inside the vehicles.
