TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Two men were arrested Sunday afternoon after gunshots were fired at Apple Apartments near 29th Street and Swan.

According to Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan, there was a report of a man walking around the apartment complex with a gun. Once police arrived at the scene, they pursued the suspect and another man in a vehicle headed west on 29th Street. The car refused to pull over for police.

The car continued onto 32nd Street, made a left turn at Palo Verde and then turned onto Hemlock Stravenue. The pursuing officers performed a PIT maneuver and spun the suspect's vehicle into a residential front yard.

The suspects attempted to flee on foot but were detained quickly by police. No shots were fired during the pursuit, according to Dugan.

Police recovered multiple guns from the vehicle. Both men were arrested.
