    Police responded to several reports of a shooting early Sunday morning in a neighborhood near Park Avenue and East Silverlake Road. Officers found two men shot in the 1100 block of East 32nd Street just after 1:30 a.m. on May 28, according to a release from Tucson Police Department.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The community is invited to get in their pajamas and participate in the Pima Animal Care Center's free weekend adoption events.

PACC said it's extending its hours Aug. 29 through 31 for its last weekend to get its adoption numbers up for the Rachael Ray 100K Challenge. The shelter is competing with 49 other shelters for a prize of $100,000 from the ASPCA.

PACC is offering free adoptions and will host family-friendly events all weekend. The following is the Cat's Pajamas Adoption Party itinerary:

Friday, Aug. 29: Bring the kids and read to a pet during storytime from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Saturday, Aug. 30: Enjoy free breakfast (and adoptions) from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and catch a movie in the courtyard from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Sunday, Aug. 31: This final day of the Challenge features free adoptions and gifts during from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
