IRVINE, CA (KCBS/KCAL/CBS) - A bride completely changed plans for her dream wedding so her dying father could give her away and watch her get married from his hospital bed.

David Wilson was diagnosed with a rare cancer, and though his illness prevented him from standing, he and his daughter danced to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

"I asked him, daddy, I want to do my father-daughter dance with you," Lisa Wilson said. "He said, "Honey, I can't. I can't get up.' I said, you don't have to. We can dance with your hands."

In addition to changing the venue, Wilson and her fiance moved the date up a week.
