FAIRWAY, KS (KCTV) -

KCTV5 and PrepsKC are excited to renew their partnership and bring you the best high school football information in the area.

Each week a high school football game airs on KSMO-TV. The first game is Aug. 29 when Kearney visits Liberty.

KCTV5's on-air and digital sports ticker is powered by PrepsKC, who also provides sports headlines for KCTV5.com. Click here to see more.

"We began with a simple goal to provide the ultimate high school football coverage in the Kansas City Metro area and surrounding areas," said PrepsKC managing editor Dion Clisso. "Each year we have tried to get a little bit better and offer the fans more. One of the main ways is through our great partnership with KCTV5 and KSMO-TV. We are very passionate about high school football, and we hope it shows in everything we do."

In an effort to give fans even more information when they want it and literally at their fingertips, PrepsKC has unveiled an app that you can download through Google Play or the Apple store. The app has live stats and scores, standings, stories, photos, podcasts and more. Once you sign in, you can follow your favorite team.

"This is a dynamic app that allows you to follow your favorite team or conference no matter where you are at," Clisso said. "This app is really just part of the evolution of PrepsKC."

PrepsKC also has a radio show on KCWJ-AM.
