Tucson Police searching for multiple robbery suspects

Posted: Updated:
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police are investigating three robberies that took place on Thursday at various locations around Tucson.

The first happened at a bank on the northwest side on Thursday afternoon.  According to Tucson Police a Bank of America on Oracle near Wetmore was robbed. TPD officers are saying they have a possible suspect in custody.

A second robbery happened just hours before the B of A robbery, as a CVS on Broadway and Wilmot was robbed.  Tucson Police are saying the suspect implied a weapon.  This suspect is still on the loose, he is described as a black man, about 5'6" tall, weighing about 200 pounds, possibly in his 30s.  He was seen wearing a black do-rag and a long sleeve gray shirt and dark pants.

Tucson Police officials are wondering if this CVS robbery is connected to another robbery that occurred early on Thursday morning, a Little Caesars Pizza near 22nd and Craycroft.  The suspect in the pizza robbery was described as a black man, about 6' and weighing about 200 pounds, wearing a black shirt and jeans.  TPD is saying this suspect may also have been armed.

Anyone with information on any of these robberies is asked to call 911.
