Fresh summer drinks

From mojitos to margaritas, these summery drinks are perfect for any barbecue or summer luau.

Green tea agave mojito:

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Cruzan Light rum
½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
½ oz. agave
12 fresh mint leaves
2.0 oz. iced green tea (unsweetened)

Steps:

1. Add mint, lime juice and agave in a shaker
2. Muddle for 5 seconds
3. Add ice, rum and green tea and shake to combine
4. Strain into an ice filled highball
5. Garnish with fresh mint sprig

Note:

1. for non-alcoholic version replace rum with high quality tonic and add .50 oz of agave.
2. For additional flavors try adding fresh strawberries or raspberries.

Cucumber cilantro margarita

Ingredients:

2 oz. Patron Silver tequila
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
1 inch cucumber diced
1 oz. agave
Pinch of fresh cilantro

Steps:

1. Add diced cucumber, cilantro, agave and lime to a shaker and muddle
2. Add tequila and ice cubes and shake
3. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass
4. Garnish with a lime wedge

Note: for a non-alcoholic version replace tequila with high quality tonic.

Strawberry basil lemonade

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Cachaca
2 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 large fresh basil leaves
3 medium fresh strawberries
2 oz. agave

Steps:

1. Add fresh basil, strawberries, agave and lemon juice to a shaker and muddle
2. Add Cachaca and ice cubes and shake
3. Double strain over fresh ice in a tulip glass
4. Garnish with a sprig of basil and strawberry Note: for a non-alcoholic version replace Cachaca with high quality soda water.

Arnold Pepper

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Hendrick's Gin
2 oz. fresh lemon juice
3 spears fresh red bell pepper
3 fresh basil leaves
1.5 oz. agave

Steps:

1. Add red bell pepper, agave and lemon juice to a shaker and muddle well
2. Add fresh basil and lightly bruise
3. Add Hendrick's Gin and ice cubes and shake
4. Double strain over fresh ice in a tulip glass
5. Garnish with a sprig of basil and spear of red bell pepper Note: for a non-alcoholic version replace gin with high quality soda water.

Roseberry

Ingredients:

½ oz. St. Germaine
1 oz Tito's Vodka
2 oz. fresh lemon juice
2 fresh sprigs of rosemary
6 fresh raspberries
2 oz. agave

Steps:

1. Add fresh rosemary, fresh raspberries, agave and lemon juice to a shaker and muddle
2. Add Tito's Vodka & St. Germaine and ice cubes and shake
3. Double strain over fresh ice in a tulip glass
4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and raspberry Note: for a non-alcoholic version replace gin with high quality soda water.
