#IfTheyGunnedMeDown: Twitter users respond to MO teen’s shooting death

The hashtag #IfTheyGunnedMeDown is popular on social media following the Missouri shooting.

Young African American men are posting two contrasting pictures of themselves on Twitter asking the question "If they gunned me down which picture would the news use?"

This comes after many news outlets chose to use a picture of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown holding up what some say is a gang sign instead of using his graduation photo.

They are comparing this to a photo that news stations used of Trayvon Martin in 2012.
