Jeff Ruby's ill-fated Waterfront Restaurant began sinking Tuesday morning at its dock in Hebron, Ky.

Ruby tweeted a photo of the semi-submerged barge with a caption "Just another day in paradigm" around 9:30 a.m.

This is the third time the former restaurant and night club has been on the move. It broke loose from its mooring in 2011 with more than 80 diners on board. Ruby closed the restaurant after that incident and left it docked on the Covington riverfront.

In February of this year, the restaurant broke loose for the second time and floated 85 feet east before stopping at the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge. The barge was then moved to the Hebron dock in the 6700 block of River Road where it began to sink Tuesday.

Most belongings on the barge, which was set to be scrapped, were moved out before it sank Tuesday, according to a statement from Jeff Ruby.

"There are extenuating circumstances due to the damage caused. A thorough investigation is being conducted regarding this situation and we are working closely with the authorities through the investigational process," the statement read.

Ruby, a famous Cincinnati restaurateur, announced in June that he was looking to reopen the Waterfront but this time it would be on land.

"It's sexy to dine on a floating restaurant, but it's not safe sex," Ruby told FOX19 in June.
