Day of service in Glenville, help is needed

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

To celebrate Cleveland's 218th birthday, Ohio Homecoming and the Rockefeller Park Association, along with Famicos Foundation and Citizens academy hosted a day of service in the Glenville/Rockefeller Park neighborhood from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.

Several volunteers worked on an improvement project at Citizens Academy.

Activities included painting classrooms, planting flower beds and enhancing the playground.

The group also picked up trash, cleared unused lots and did some small beautification projects throughout the neighborhood.
