KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A disruptive passenger was temporarily taken into custody at the Kansas City International Airport Wednesday.

Joe McBride, a spokesperson for KCI, said the passenger was on American Airlines flight 1233 from Dallas to Kansas City. The flight was close to landing when the passenger started interfering with flight attendants.

McBride said the plane landed without any problems. The FBI was contacted. Airport police took the passenger into custody, but they were later released.

No one was hurt and the disruption didn't cause any flight delays.
