KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A 3-year-old Tennessee boy saved an elderly man who was trapped in a hot car Saturday afternoon in a church parking lot.

Bob King was about to go inside his church for an event, but he accidentally became locked inside his car. After having several strokes, he just didn't remember how to unlock the doors, and everyone else was already inside.
King has always had a special bond with toddler Keith Williams, but now they're closer than ever.

"Because I'm a superhero," Williams said.

Williams was playing outside of the church with his sister, when he heard King from inside his car.

"Pecking on the window making any kind of noises I can make and little man looked up at me, I said 'I'm locked in'," King said.

Williams ran inside the church and grabbed his pastor Jack Greene.

"When I finally got it open, Mr. King just pretty much fell out of the car into my hands," Greene said. "His face was so red, he was so hot."

But, King was alive and eventually OK, all because of a toddler. "I help people," Williams said.

"He's a hero," King said.

A hero, even in his sister's eyes.

"Bob has almost died of cancer and he's had strokes so it really surprised me when I heard that my little brother saved a life," Amelia Williams said.

"He's excited because people are calling him a superhero," said Jessie Williams, Keith's mom.

"I think it was a miracle. Ten more minutes, we wouldn't have Mr. King with us today. I really believe that," Greene said.
