LENEXA, KS (KCTV) -

Lenexa police have identified two victims of a deadly triple shooting.

Officers say Brian S. Baskind, 47 and Clifford E. Preston, 79 were found dead inside.

Police do not believe a suspect to be on the loose, but did not provide additional details. Police say they believe it was a double homicide.

A man called police just after 10 p.m. Wednesday telling them he had been shot in the stomach and needed help, but he didn't know where he was.

Police kept him on the phone and used GPS to track him down in the 8500 block of Hallet Street.

When they arrived, he was outside the home, and police found two men dead inside the home.

Authorities are now trying to find out what led to the shooting. Detectives and the Johnson County sheriff's crime scene investigators were in the home Thursday morning continuing the investigation including marking tire tracks as evidence.

"Detectives are trying to speak to neighbors or anyone who might have heard or seen anything to gather some preliminary information. But right now, we don't have a lot of details. We don't know the relationships of any of these individuals," said Lenexa police spokesman Dan Friesen.

The man who called 911 is in the hospital. Police couldn't say how he is doing.

Neighbors tell KCTV5 that a father and son lived in the residence. Police have not said if the three men knew each other.

But the shooting rattled the neighborhood.

"It's kind of strange for Lenexa to say the least," neighbor Bob Bonner said.

Terri Dolski concurred.

"It's kind of freaky. It's a quiet neighborhood so nothing like this has ever happened," Dolski said.

"I just hope this is an isolated incident for the neighborhood and the city for that matter," Caroline Ewing said.

This is Lenexa's first homicide since 2012.
