(CNN) - A photo from space shows just how massive Typhoon Neoguri is as it approaches Okinawa, Japan.

NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman snapped the photo from the International Space Station.

The typhoon is expected to pass by Okinawa early Tuesday and bring wind gusts up to 185 miles per hour.

Officials at Kadena Air Base are warning that it’s the most powerful storm to hit the island in 15 years.

All aircraft have been moved to other bases in the Pacific outside of the typhoon's path.
