Police investigating Fourth of July homicide

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Police are investigating after they say a man was killed on the Fourth of July.

At 9:02 p.m. officers were called to North 41st Street and Waverly Avenue, located just west of Interstate 635, on a report of a shooting. When they got there, the officers found 34-year-old Antwan D. Frazier dead.

There was another shooting at 33rd Street and Garfield Avenue in Kansas City, MO. It happened shortly before 10 p.m.

Officers say a man was shot in the leg, but they don't consider his injuries serious.

Police are still looking for suspects in both shootings.
