LONDON (CBS) - Witnesses say on Tuesday that Islamic extremists have abducted more teenagers from a village in Nigeria.

More than two months after Islamic militants kidnapped hundreds of Nigerian girls from their boarding school, witnesses say the terrorist group Boko Haram has taken more captives.

This time the extremists reportedly abducted at least 90 girls, women and boys during an attack on a village on Saturday.

Nigerian officials could not confirm the kidnappings.

More than 200 girls from the April abductions are still missing. Some escaped, running into the forest.

Distraught relatives have not heard any news about the girls since Boko Haram released a video about a month after the abductions. The group demanded a prisoner swap in exchange for their freedom, but Nigeria's president refused.

The country's military has said it knows where the girls are but fears the terrorists will kill them if they take action.

But some reports say the militants have already moved the girls to different countries to be sold. In neighboring Cameroon, soldiers are keeping an eye on the border for any movement from the terror group.

Boko Haram formed five years ago and is trying to enforce strict Islamic law across Nigeria. But at least half of the country's 170 million people are Christians.
