RICHMOND, TX (CNN) – New dashboard camera video shows a Texas police officer responding to a report of a woman lying on railroad tracks with a train speeding toward her.

Officer Ramon Morales arrived at the railroad crossing in Richmond, TX around 1 a.m. Sunday.

As soon as he pulls up, the lights start flashing and the train crossing arms lower.

The video shows Morales running onto the tracks and the train rumbling toward them and blowing its whistle.

Morales pulls the woman out of the way and into the lights from his car. He them holds the crying woman so she can't run back at the train whizzing past them.

Neither Morales nor the woman were injured. The woman was taken to a hospital for an assessment.

Richmond police said Morales has only been with the department for about 10 months.
