Police converge on Weston park in search for missing woman

WESTON, MO (KCTV) -

Update: A citizen found the woman about 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Riverfront Park in Leavenworth, KS. She was initially unresponsive and rushed to Cushing Memorial Hospital in Leavenworth. Authorities say the woman has regained consciousness and has been reunited with her family.

The investigation is continuing.

Authorities have converged on Weston Bend State Park as they search for a missing woman.

Crime tape has been set up and officers are searching on all-terrain vehicles, patrol car and foot.

Tami Michelle Olson, 29, is missing. Her vehicle was found in the parking lot. A suicide note and her identification were found in the vehicle.

Her boyfriend advised that she had left her cell phone and other personal property at her residence in Omaha.

Olson is described as a white woman who stands 5'6" tall. She weighs about 140 pounds and has blonde hair, green eyes and is fair. She has a tattoo on her right shin. She was last seen wearing a gray tank top and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Missouri Highway Patrol at 816-622-0800.
