One dead, one hospitalized after motorcycle crash in Kingsport

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office has released more information about a deadly crash that happened Friday night.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 7:30 near the intersection of Long Hollow Road and Reservoir Road in Kingsport.

Investigators said it appears the motorcycle was going fast around a curve when the driver lost control, slid into the other land and hit a Toyota Camry.

The driver of the motorcycle, Bryan A. Scott, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger of the motorcycle, Kellyn Gouge, 22, was taken to Holston Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Camry were not hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.
