The Royals are on the road for the next week, which means it's the perfect opportunity for the hardworking grounds crew to get the field at Kauffman Stadium in tip-top shape.
Fans may have noticed over the last week and a half that there's been a special edition to outfield - a giant crown stretching across centerfield. It was designed at the beginning of the month in preparation for the stretch of home games and the accompanying big crowds that included the Cardinals, Yankees and Indians.
Now Royals groundskeeper Trevor Vance is asking fans if it should stay or go. What do you think? Let us know on our accompanying poll. On Twitter or Facebook comment with #Crown or #Traditional to cast your vote and follow the results here.
