Silver Alert canceled for missing KCK man

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

UPDATE: Kansas City police say Leroy Bryant has been found unharmed at an area restaurant.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing elderly man.

Police say Leroy Bryant is suffering from the onset of Alzheimer's and has been missing since 11 a.m. Thursday. He left walking from the 5000 block of Haskell Avenue and has not returned to his caregiver.

Bryant was last seen wearing red pants rolled up at the bottom, a baseball cap, tan shirt, black and white windbreaker and wire frame glasses. 

He is known to frequent the areas of 17th & Quindaro Blvd., 7th & Nebraska Ave., and 8th & Central Ave.

Bryant arrived in town two days ago from Denver, CO, however he is originally from Kansas City, KS.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
