CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A truck driver was found not guilty on all counts Thursday for a crash that killed one person and seriously injured two others.

Jason Woodyard faced two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular manslaughter.

The accident happened in September 2013 on northbound Interstate 75 just north of Interstate 74.

Authorities say Ashley Kelly, 22, was driving when lost control of her vehicle and hit the barrier. A second vehicle, driven by James Harrison, 22, stopped to avoid colliding with her. That's when a semi driven by Woodyard crashed into both vehicles.

Harrison's passenger, 21-year-old Zachary Byrd was pronounced dead at the scene. Kelly and Harrison were both transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to court documents, the accident happened in a construction zone and Woodyard was speeding.
