CLAREMORE, OK (KOTV/CBS) - More than 100 Model A Fords are on a driving tour of Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma this week.

Car owners are driving from more than a dozen states for the meet.

The group planned to spell out "Tulsa" with their cars in front of the Golden Driller on Wednesday.

Ken Brust and his wife are chairs of the event. He admitted this group of 130 friends love their cars.

"It was only built in four years," Brust said. "The Model T was built for 20 years, then they switched to the model A - built in '28, '29, '30, and '31."

Laura Cook is attending the event with her daughter, Kathy Crawford, and her grandson, Kayden. They recently finished the final restoration, but Cook's husband died before he could take it on a tour, so they're finishing out his bucket list.
