WALNUT HILLS (FOX19) -

The SWAT team responded to a domestic dispute in Walnut Hills around 2 a.m. Sunday.

A woman went to see her 18-year-old sister at Michael Whitby's home on Beresford Ave. when the Whitby answered the door with a gun and refused to let her in.

She called police and the situation resulted in a standoff.

Whitby surrendered peacefully a couple of hours later. He was taken into custody and charged with Weapons Under Disability.

Whitby has previously served time for a voluntary manslaughter conviction in 1989.
