A Delhi Township man is being held on a $210,000 bond after
police seized 93 pounds of marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash from his
Cincinnati police responded Sunday to the 5600 block of Foley Road for a domestic dispute call involving 43-year-old Joseph Gray. Officers smelled "raw marijuana" during the investigation, and after questioning Gray, found approximately 14 pounds of pot in a kitchen cabinet.
Court documents state that officers obtained a search warrant and found an additional 79 pounds of marijuana being prepared for sale. Authorities also recovered two firearms, $10,576 in cash as well as with scales and other drug paraphernalia.
Gray was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, drug abuse and having weapons while under disability. He has two prior drug trafficking convictions.
Gray appeared in a Hamilton County courtroom Tuesday morning. His case will go to a grand jury on June 12.
