HOLT, MO (KCTV) -

A 25-year-old Gladstone woman has died from injuries suffered after she was thrown from a motorcycle.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Amanda M. Wilson was a passenger on a 2001 Harley Davidson when it crashed about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

She died early Monday morning at Liberty Hospital.

The wreck happened on Interstate 35 near Holt in Clay County.

Troopers say the motorcycle blew a tire, causing the driver, Ryan Luscombe, 41, of Kansas City, to lose control and overturn.

Wilson was thrown from the motorcycle. She was wearing a helmet.

Luscombe suffered moderate injuries.
