The Norwood Police Department issued a temporary restraining order Monday to close the Quality Hotel in Norwood.

Police said the restraining order was issued because of the prostitution and drug activity at the hotel.

A permanent injunction hearing is scheduled for June 16 to close the hotel permanently.

The hotel is located at 4747 Montgomery Road.
