Posted: Updated:
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

What started as an argument escalated into a hit-and-run in the Northland.

Kansas City police say it started about 8:15 p.m. Sunday at the Englewood Apartments at the corner of Northwest Waukomis Drive and Northwest Englewood Road.

Police initially responded to an injury there, but when they arrived, officers say they discovered three people had been intentionally struck by a car. One of the victims was taken to the hospital.

The driver was arrested at a nearby gas station where witnesses say he started another fight before officers arrived.
