Allegiant Air is expanding services to two new locations from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The first Allegiant flights from CVG to Tampa/St. Petersburg, Fla., and Myrtle Beach, S.C. take off on Wednesday.
The new locations were added only one month after Allegiant started flying out of CVG, expanding its service from four flights per week to ten. They also offer flights to Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Fla. and Orlando/Sanford, Fla.
A round-trip flight to St. Petersburg on June 26 - June 29 is priced at $227 on Allegiant, according to prices calculated on Wednesday morning. Prices figured at the same time showed Delta's to be significantly higher.
Allegiant is celebrating their newest services by hosting a pie eating contest on Wednesday. The winner will receive two free tickets on the inaugural flight and a three nights stay in St. Petes. View contest details here: http://www.cvgairport.com/event/
