Reds cancel game; will play two on Thursday

The Reds' game against the San Diego Padres Wednesday evening at Great American Ball Park has been canceled.

The teams will play at 12:35 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. Thursday.

Wednesday's game will technically be made up with the 6:10 p.m. game. Gates open at 5:10 p.m. The 12:35 p.m. game was already scheduled.

Fans holding tickets for Wednesday's game may use their same ticket for the rescheduled game Thursday night with no exchange necessary.

Fans holding Kid Glove tickets for Wednesday's game may use their same tickets for Thursday's rescheduled game only with no exchange necessary.

This is San Diego's only trip to Cincinnati this season.

Please check your ticket for specific rain check instructions. Keep your ticket. It is your rain check and may be exchanged at face value for a 2014 Cincinnati Reds regular season home game (exclusions apply), subject to availability.

You do not need to exchange your tickets Wednesday. Ticket exchanges are available at Great American Ball Park throughout the regular season in advance of game day only.

Fans holding a ticket with no price printed or tickets with a $0 value may use their same tickets for the rescheduled game tomorrow night only with no exchange necessary.

    Police are investigating a double-shooting at 104th Street and Holmes.  One person is fighting for their life, while the second victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.  This is the third double-shooting in Kansas City in the past 24 hours.  This is a developing story.
