CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Cincinnati man has been sentenced to 240 years (2,880 months) in prison for producing child pornography that involved an 11-month old and an approximately nine-year-old child.

James O. Napier was convicted on Tuesday following a three-day trial in January on nine counts of producing child porn.

The undercover investigation into Napier, 40, began when FBI officials in Phoenix found Napier was actively trading online child porn across the globe. Investigators found Napier maintained a collection of 1,300 images and 550 videos of child porn.

Trial testimony showed that in 2009 Napier used an 11-month old infant for sexual gratification, molested the infant and made a video recordings of it before placing it on the Internet. Other testimony showed that in 2012 Napier sexually exploited a girl who was approximately nine years-old and produced multiple videos of those acts.

"One of his victims, due to her age, may never know the abuse she suffered. The other will never forget," Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Muncy told the court on Tuesday.

The Miami Valley Regional Computer Forensics laboratory and Cincinnati's FBI agents were commended by the district attorney for their investigative efforts into the case.
