Web Exclusive: Are schools safer two decades after Clay Shrout incident?

This month marks twenty years since Clay Shrout held a Ryle High School class hostage after murdering his family. The horrifying incident started a conversation in the Tri-State about safety in schools – a conversation that continues two decades later.

FOX19's Amy Wagner spoke with people who were in that classroom, including Steve Sorrell, the principal who came face-to-face with Shrout and convinced him to surrender.
