A 35-year-old Marshall woman's body was found stuffed inside a Pettis County trailer this week, authorities said Friday morning.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office said Friday morning that the victim was Mandy M. Black. The identification was made through tattoos found on her body, and her relatives have been notified.

The 65-year-old man who lived in the trailer is in jail on unrelated charges. No charges have been filed in connection with Black's death.

Sheriff Kevin Bond said Black was killed in early 2014. He didn't release the cause of her death.

Deputies were called to the Lot 19 of the Goodwill Chapel Trailer Park in the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. A crew was cleaning out the trailer after Joseph Arbieter had been evicted due to his arrest.

The crew found part of Black's remains, and then called authorities.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies discovered additional partial remains in a wooded area a short distance from the home.

Arbieter was arrested on charges including a sex crime, armed criminal action and possession of a controlled substance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pettis County Crime Stoppers at 660-827-TIPS or the Sheriff's Office at 660-827-0052.
