No serious injuries when school bus, 2 vehicles crash

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

No one was seriously injured when a school bus and two vehicles crashed in an intersection in the Northland, authorities said.

Police investigated a report that a projectile, possibly a BB pellet or rock, broke a window on the school bus. Authorities have determined that a student's elbow collided with the window, breaking the glass.

The student suffered cuts from the flying glass. The shattered glass may have caused the school bus driver to lose control.

This occurred about 4 p.m. Friday near North Stark Avenue and 99th Street.

Chopper5 flew over the scene and showed an SUV and covered red truck collided with the school bus. A street sign lay underneath the front of the red vehicle.
