Police are investigating three separate bank robberies around the metro Thursday.
A spokesperson for the FBI's Kansas City Division said the First Federal Bank on East Gregory Boulevard just off of Blue Parkway/Highway 350 in Raytown, MO, was robbed about 11:30 a.m.
She said a man who is approximately 28 to 33 years old, 5'11" to 6'2" tall and weighing 175 to 200 pounds walked into the bank and handed the teller a note. He did not show a weapon.
The FBI said the suspect was also wearing a long-sleeve dark-colored shirt, a neon green construction-style vest, a white hard hat, tan/khaki work-style pants, tan work boots and sunglasses.
No one was injured and the suspect ran from the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen walking westbound in the direction of Highway 350, behind Walgreens.
A second bank robbery was reported at the Bank Midwest, located at West 63rd Street and Brookside Boulevard in Kansas City, MO.
Bridget Patton with the FBI said a man entered the bank about 12:40 p.m. and gave a note to the teller demanding money. He ran from the bank on foot with cash and was last seen heading eastbound on 63rd Street.
Officials said the suspect is about 6'1" tall and weighs roughly 180 pounds. He is between 30 and 40 years old and was wearing a rubber-style rain jacket with a hood.
A second Raytown bank was robbed about 3:15 p.m.
Two suspects hit the UMB Bank at East 63rd Street and Raytown Trafficway. One was described as 6'1" tall, weighing about 220 pounds and wearing green safety glasses, a Tampa Bay Buccaneers baseball cap and beard.
The second suspect was also about 6'1" tall and weighed roughly 190 pounds. Witnesses said he had a ball cap with some sort of logo on it and was wearing white or light gray sweatpants.
The suspects gave the teller a note demanding money and threatened them with a weapon, although they never showed it.
They left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a later model (2000-2005) maroon Chevy Impala.
