JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -

A substitute teacher is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after numerous files were found on his laptop.

Court documents say that a Missouri trooper was conducting an investigation into the distribution of child pornography files through a peer-to-peer file sharing network when they came across two videos from a specific IP address that was assigned to an account at a home on Manitou Way Drive in Warrensburg, MO. Joshua Woodard lives at the home.

Officials served a search warrant and seized two laptops, one of which was found next to Woodard's bed in the basement. Court documents say at least 10 files were found on one of the laptops that contained video of child pornography.

Officials found Woodard at Ridgeview Elementary School where he is a substitute teacher.

After being read his Miranda Rights, according to court documents, he admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography.

Woodard was charged in a Johnson County, MO, court Wednesday afternoon.
