Injuries reported after school bus, vehicle crash in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

At least one adult was injured in a crash Tuesday morning in Kansas City.

The crash occurred about 8:15 a.m. Brooklyn Avenue and Truman Road.

Kansas City police said children were on board the bus, but none were injured.

The front of the vehicle that appeared to hit the bus in the rear had significant front end damage.

An adult was taken away by ambulance, but authorities said everyone would be OK.

This was the second of three bus crashes in Kansas City on Tuesday morning. No serious injuries have been reported.

The first crash occurred at 68th Street and The Paseo. No children were on the bus.

The third bus crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. at Swope Parkway and 63rd Street. The driver who hit the school bus fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
