Motorcyclist killed in Eastern Jackson County crash

EASTERN JACKSON COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Eastern Jackson County Saturday afternoon when he was hit from behind and ejected from his bike.

According to the accident report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Aaron Rash of Pleasant Hill, MO, was hit from behind while traveling northbound on Missouri Highway 7 near Stringtown Road. Rash was thrown from his motorcycle and was hit and killed by a pick-up truck traveling southbound.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Rash's motorcycle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened about 1:45 p.m.
