180th Airmen go bald for boy with cancer

Posted: Updated:

Members of the Ohio Air National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing shaved their heads today in support of a 6-year-old who is battling cancer.

Brayden Mitchell has begun losing his hair due to chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

His father Dave Mitchell was a member of the 180th, but lost his life in a plane crash before Brayden was born.

Several airmen decided to go bald for Brayden today to show him that even after all of that, he's not fighting this battle alone.

The Go Bald for Brayden campaign has been going strong for over a month now, with airmen shaving their heads at bases all over the world.
