Baseball fans rejoice, it is Opening Day at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals lost their first two games on the road in extra innings and Thursday's game was postponed due to weather.

But weather shouldn't be a factor in Kansas City on Friday, and fans and players have high expectations for the season.

That's on the field. In the stands, there will be high fives, cheers and perhaps a few tears. And if this year is like last year, well, there will be some over-the-top moments

KCTV5 News takes a look back at the five best and worst, or at least the most memorable, fan moments from last year.

Royals superfan Jimmy Faseler

Who could forget Jimmy Faseler's hypnotic belly dance on the Jumbotron?

His giggling went viral as the "Kauffman twerk" and got him onto the field for a game with the team.

Royals fan rushes field, steals rosin bag

Marvel now at the bottom of the eighth stunt as the Royals trailed against the Los Angeles Angels.

As a fan took to the field and slid past the pitcher's mound, a security guard eats dirt. Then, the guy steals the rosin bag and celebrates like he just made off with a huge victory.

Afterwards, players and coaches wonder what had just happened.

Leavenworth man's tweets earn him big honor

Then a dream came true as George Weston won the chance of a lifetime to throw out the first pitch for his non-stop tweeting about the team. It wasn't perfect, but he still had the time of his life. Click here to read more.

"It did hit the ground, so I can't call it a knuckleball, but it was an exciting moment for me," Weston said.

Nurse resuscitates teen fan

K-Crew member Sam Sapenaro became a royal hero after she saved a life. She gave CPR to a 14-year-old fan who collapsed in the stands. Sapenaro happens to also be a nurse. Click here to read more.

Woman arrested after jumping into fountains

But the most outrageous moment of them all made national headlines. That's when an intoxicated Jessica McCoy was captured on cell phone cameras scaling her way to the fountains at the K. Click here to read more.

She eventually jumped in and waded around a bit - blue beverage in hand. She eventually got out and tried to run. Security ejected McCoy from the game, and she was arrested.

Although it may look fun, climbing the K to get to the fountains is dangerous. Not only that, it is illegal and considered trespassing.

With that in mind, the Royals are selling vials full of the K's fountain water. So fans can get close to the fountain without getting arrested.
