COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Bond is now set for two of the four suspects in the Troy Saunders murder trial.

Saunders, 39, was shot to death in his car at the Super 8 Motel on Warm Springs Rd. on Jan 24. His death was Columbus' first homicide of 2014.

Niesha Jones, now 18, was given a $300,000 bond for the murder charge, plus two additional bonds of $25,000 each for charges on Aggravated Assault and Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery.

Trevon Brown, 19, was also given a $300,000 bond for the murder charge, plus three additional bonds of $25,000 each for charges on Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, and Possession of Firearm During Commission of a Crime.

At a bond hearing for another suspect on Feb. 7, investigators testified that 19-year-old Christopher Womack admitted to shooting Saunders.

Sgt. Robert Taft testified that Jones, then 17, was used to lure the victim to the motel. The other three suspects—Brown, Womack, and 20-year-old Mayson Gibson—demanded money from Saunders.

Jones was allegedly pulled from Saunders' car before shots were fired.

Womack and Gibson are still being held without bail. All four suspects are being held at the Muscogee County Jail.
