Will he or won't he? There are conflicting reports out about whether University of Kansas' 7' center Joel Embiid is going to leave the Jayhawks to enter the NBA draft.
Yahoo Sports is citing anonymous sources that say he's going to the NBA, but Embiid said via Twitter that he hasn't made a decision just yet.
He's got a month to decide as Embiid, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, has until April 27 to declare himself eligible for the NBA draft.
He could potentially be the No. 1 overall pick, but more than likely a top five.
The top scale rookie salary is in the $4.5 million range per season.
Many believe another year with KU would better prepare the Cameroon native since he missed the last six games of the season and the NCAA tournament with a fracture in his lower back.
Kansas guard Wayne Selden announced Tuesday that he will return for his sophomore season.
The 6'5" Selden averaged nearly 10 points for the Jayhawks, whose season ended with a 60-57 loss to Stanford on Sunday in the third round of the NCAA tournament.
Selden was considered a first-round talent coming out of high school, but an up-and-down campaign may have caused his stock to drop. Most draft projections had him going late in the first round or at some point in the second round.
Fellow freshman Andrew Wiggins has already said he plans to enter the draft.
