KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Authorities are looking for a car that fled the scene of a crime late Saturday night.

Kansas City police were called at 10 p.m. to shots fired near East 51st Street and Woodland Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found 27-year-old Dominick Sears in the driver's seat of a pickup truck, suffering from a gunshot wound. He died shortly after.

A witness later reported seeing a white, four-door 2014 Chevy Malibu with tinted windows and a spoiler.
