    According to Tucson police, Mario Jesus Dorame, 43, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 15, and booked into the Pima County Jail on his arrest warrant for first-degree murder. Police say Dorame had a relationship with the victim, 52-year-old Maria Escobedo, who was found deceased on Oct. 1.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A new Walmart store opening Wednesday in a developingarea of the city is expected to create 200 full-time and part-time jobs forTucsonans.

Officials said the store at 9260 S. Houghton Road will beopen 24/7, beginning March 12 after its opening ceremony at 7:30 a.m.

"I'm excited to be part of a company that continues togrow and invest in Tucson," store manager Lee Johnson stated in a news release.

Johnson said the grand opening will also includepresentations of $6,000 in grants from Walmart to local community groups.

"This Walmart will be a great addition to the Tucsoncommunity," said Tucson Ward IV City Council Member and current Vice MayorShirley Scott. "This is the third Walmart to open in Ward IV in the past twoyears. We welcome the jobs, investment and, of course, the shopping convenienceWalmart will bring to local residents."
