The Missouri Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old whose father allegedly took him by force.

Jaden Hanson was taken by his father Jamil Hanson from a home in Bolivar about noon Friday.

Bolivar Police Chief Mark Webb said the boy and his mother live in the Bolivar area. The parents got in a fight and Jamil Hanson, 29, took his son by force, Webb said.

Hanson left in a white Hyundai with Missouri license plate CJ7D0K.

Officers arrived within two minutes but weren't able to find Hanson or the boy.

The Amber Alert was canceled at 4:30 p.m. after the boy was found safe. Officers took the boy from a home in the Springfield area. The boy was in good condition and played with a police man's flashlight after he was scooped up.

The Amber Alert was for: Vernon County, St. Clair County, Newton County, Lawrence County, Polk County, McDonald County, Taney County, Stone County, Jasper County and Webster County.
