LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - The guys who walk onto the floor at Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday will know better than just about anyone the value of a single game.
If the eighth-ranked Jayhawks beat Texas, they'll take a three-game lead with four left in the Big 12 race, essentially assuring them of a share of their 10th consecutive conference championship.
But if the No. 19 Longhorns can finish off a regular-season sweep of Kansas, they'll close within a game of the conference lead as the two teams enter the stretch run.
