Residents in Williamson County cleaning up after storm

Posted: Updated:

Some of the worst damage from Thursday night's storms was in Williamson County.

While residents deal with downed trees, a Lowe's Home Improvement store has a mess on their hands after strong winds shattered a glass wall.

The wind took out the front wall of the garden center in Franklin, and employees are trying to get it all cleaned up so they can open that section of the store.

The store was open when the tornado sirens went off Thursday night.

A few miles from the Lowe's, the Sussex Downs apartments had several trees fall over.

One of the trees fell on a tennis court, another barely missed an apartment building and another fell onto several cars.

There are no damage estimates for Williamson County at this time.
