EAU CLAIRE, WI (WQOW/CNN) – A bowling alley employee's quick reactions helped save a boy who was caught in a ball pit.
The owners of Wagner's Lanes in Eau Claire, WI, say the toddler wandered down a lane Sunday night.
Andy Gardner, who was on his way out the door after his shift, heard a few patrons screaming for help.
The toddler had gotten caught by the par that swoops down to clear the pins.
Gardner ran down the lane to turn off the machine.
The boy – who was not hurt – was returned to his parents, who apologized for the incident and thanked Gardner for saving their son.
